APS Prairie Section Spring Meeting

The Prairie Section of the American Physical Society will be holding its 2025 Spring Meeting at Lewis University February 20-22, 2025.

The Prairie Section Spring Meeting will cover current issues in many fields of physics in our region, such as quantum information and material science, particle and nuclear physics, biophysics and soft condensed matter, astrophysics, climate physics, physics education, and diversity and inclusion. The plenary, parallel, and poster sessions will provide an excellent forum for discussions and learning; workshops will offer valuable skill development; and social events will provide a space for networking.

The APS Prairie Section leadership have agreed to refund the registration fee for any student who attends the conference in person and to provide up to $100 to reimburse costs incurred by students registered for PSAPS who present either a poster or oral talk. Register now!

The SPS Zone 9 Meeting will be held concurrently on February 21-22 with some shared plenaries, workshops, and sessions on Friday, February 21.
